Digital Buddies is a Chester-based community initiative that aims to help older members of the community become more confident in using modern technology. With the help of volunteers, we are working together to bring a friendly and relaxed attitude to technology education. We provide workshop-based sessions in a friendly and welcoming environment, as well as working one-to-one with people who attend the sessions. We welcome people of all abilities, from total beginners to more experienced users.

Our sessions cover a wide range of topics and have so far included: email ,online safety, social networking, online banking to name a few.

learn, socialise, and get to grips with modern technology!

Today, new technology is becoming more prominent. Those without the knowledge to master the basics such as sending an email, surfing the net or using a mobile phone may find life is becoming increasingly difficult as older methods of communication and operations change to a new technology-based society.
Many people need help in being able adapt and learn how to grasp the concept of using new technology Digital Buddies is here to provide help to those who need it.
